Anime and Manga

Why do people think both anime and manga is dorky?

Yeah i admitt it is cartoons for ‘big kids’ (in its crudest sense of course)but they are so cccccooooollllllll.

They are melodramatic, entertaining, funny, full of action, you can connect with the characters, its so weird and out there itsw awesome…..and dispite most people beliefes, manga and anime is it always in japanese, in fact it is quite easy to get your hands in a copy of a subbed/dubbed english version of either.

But the thing im trying my hardest to come to terms is why, why do people put others down for liking such things? Is it because it is somthing they themsleves do not like so that must mean it is not “cool”? Or is it the fact thaat they actually do like and they are afraid to come out with the fact and are jelous of others who are so they pick on them?

To be honest with all of you readers i have no clue.

Maybe you could shed some light ontop of my predicament. ❤

P.S. btw those of you who might have the impression that anime and manga is just plain ol’ crazy cartoon porn…..well it not, you are WRONG….thats only for the sick people….
